Location. The Boston Park Plaza Hotel is located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Mass. The Theatre District, Boston Common and the Boston Public Gardens are within one block. Freedom Trail and shops on Newbury Street are one half mile away. Faneuil Hall, Beacon Hill and the John Hancock Observatory are one mile from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Built in 1927 by E.M. Statler, the Boston Park Plaza Hotel features four restaurants and three bars. Todd English's Bonfire restaurant serves steak and seafood while Swans Caf� serves continental cuisine and offers afternoon tea daily. McCormick & Schmick's serves seafood and Smith & Wollensky serve steak and offers a wine selection. Whiskey Park bar serves cocktails. Finale is a dessert and beverage bar. M.J. O'Connor's is an Irish bar featuring a fireplace and serving beverages and Irish fare. The hotel includes a fitness center offering cardiovascular equipment and weights, bottled water and towels. The hotel also provides a beauty and barber shop offering styling, coloring, and waxing. This Boston hotel includes a business center with high speed Internet access.

The Castle at Park Plaza, operated by the hotel, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. When it opened in 1927 the hotel was the first in the world to offer in room radio and running water in every room.
